4 months

Things to remember:

-Still drinks 6 oz bottles with #1 nipple
-had his first trip to Disneyland on 10/16/10 and LOVED it! We went on the carousel, Pinocchio, Snow White, and It's a Small World.
- is waking up one time per night, usually in between 3am-5am, then goes back to sleep to anywhere from 730am-9am ( well today he didnt wake up until 10 am! )
-Has tried banana baby food and loves it, also tried a real banana in the mesh feeder and devoured it!
- Had his first cold :( Lucy gave it to him and he has had to be suctioned out a few times a day and he HATES it. He has been in a happy mood though and it really hasnt affected him much at all! Thank goodness!
-Is wearing 6-9 or 9 month clothes
- Is such a happy baby!
- Usually takes a quick power nap in the morning with dad and Lucy when they are out ( maybe a 15 minute nap )
- goes down around noon and when Troy is in charge he takes about a 3-4 hour nap. When I am around its more like 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours. What can I say? He loves time with his momma ;)
-rolls from front to back and from back to front, and scoots already! I can't believe he is doing it so soon!!!
- We took him to Urgent Care the day he turned 4 months because we thought he had an ear infection ( he kept making his ear bleed by scratching it- turns out he was fine ) but at least we got his stats on that day! He was 18 lbs 6 oz

So....
on 9/26/10 ( the real day he was 4 months ) he was 18 lbs 6 oz
on 10/18/10 at his 4 month appt he was 19 lbs 7 oz and 27.5 inches!

We didnt get the horse picture this month but here are two cute ones!

His first time at Disneyland happened when he was 4 months!

The Exersaucer....

My little man loves his exersaucer!!!

Lily and the Purple Plastic Purse

Last weekend Troy went with his dad to Vegas, and I stayed home with the kids. On Saturday Lynda took Lucy to a play out by Victoria Gardens and it she got Lucy a new outfit and purse to wear. They had a GREAT time! She said Lucy sat the entire play and didn't move at ALL. Afterward Lucy got to choose what she wanted for dinner. She chose TGIFriday's and ordered pasta. She ended up eating all of Lynda's porkchop. What are grandmas for right? Then Lucy spent the night with her. They had a really fun time together! Here are some pictures I took before Lynda picked Lucy up.

Making lunch!

The other day while I was at work Troy and Lucy made homemade chicken nuggets! And Troy even documented it! What a good husband! ( note to self: making the chicken nuggets was motivated by the fact that we saw Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution a few months ago and he showed what it was like to make chicken nuggets--from a fast food point of view ...SICK)These were delicious!

Family Time!

To start with....here are some pictures of Lucy and Stetson in Stetson's crib.....Troy says that he puts Lucy in Stetson's crib when he takes a shower and they play together. I wanted to see that in action one day. Super cute!

Next, last weekend we went to Monica and Randy's and hung out, swam, got pizza, and the girls all had a movie night. I was super worried because we were going to stay past 7 pm ( bedtime ) but it worked out perfect! Stetson slept on their couch in their front living room and admist a TON of noise...didn't budge. Lucy had SO MUCH FUN with Natalie and Kylie....they were so sweet to play with her for HOURS! Randy set up a little area for them to lay and watch Ice Age....on their 100 inch screen, with surround sound! We didnt leave until after 10pm! What a fun night for us all!

If you look closely....you can see Stetson's legs poking out of the blanket...

Mommy look!

The other day there were a ton of papers all around with something little drawn on them....I could tell Lucy was drawing something, then grabbing another paper and drawing, and kept doing it over and over. Well turns out she was drawing happy faces! She has been doing this forever but she is getting sooo much better at it! The top one has hair, and notice the bottom one is just so darn good!

Bonfire time!

A few weekends ago we decided to go down to Huntington and roast some hot dogs and have smores. It was a very spur of the moment thing for us...and it turned out super fun! It even made me think about going camping!!! ( although Troy wouldnt do beach camping and that is what I think of when I think of campin! ) You can hardly tell, but Lucy is sitting in Stetson's bumbo here.Roasting dogs.
This thing was SOO not worth the money. Maybe it will be when he can sit up and play with toys. Everytime we have tried using it, it fails! This time it was tooooo windy.
Stetson liked this part MUCH better. He sat in there forever just talking away.

"Look mom! YUMMMM!"
Blowing bubbles.

The aftermass of dirtiness just from Lucy alone was G-R-O-S-S! ( but well worth it!) Here she is trying to get the marshmellow and sand off of her hands. Good luck right?

We HAVE to do this again. Troy wants to do it with a group of people and do corn roasting....anyone wanna come?
