Big news!!

HOORRAY! Lucy rolled over yesterday for the first time, the big roll over....back to stomach.. I laid her down on her back and she was on her activity mat ...i went to wash her bottles, and within 2 minutes I came back and she was rotated 90 degrees and practicing tummy time and talking aways! Bittersweet, not getting to see it, but the fact that she did it was GREAT! I was scared because we still swaddle her at night, which I have heard makes them slower at doing things...but I mean she is still 4 months and rolled over and can sit up by herself for about 2-3 minutes a couple times a day...so I think she is all good. ONE MORE THING!!! We are in ESCROW!!! Yahoo! Got the home inspection and mold done, and now termite inspection today! Things are rolling!

Mother's Day

By the way I do have to say that my first Mother's day was great. Although Lucy has been sick for more than 2 weeks..she is finally on antibiotics and is getting better. We went to Huntington and had breakfast with my mom and brother...and of course Lucy and Troy...and walked on the pier for a bit. ( hopefully pics to come) Then went to church, came home and Troy and Steve ( father in law) made Lynda and I dinner. It was sweet, and relaxing....and it felt great to be a mom! I love my little Lucy and can't even imagine life without her now. She is such a great baby! Even when she has every sickness a little one can have all at the same time!

So these pictures are from a cell phone and then they were emailed..so they arent the best quality but oh well! IS HE NOT ADORABLE!? I saw him last night live on video cam and he is so cute! I am way jealous though because he looks a lot like Troy as a baby. So I guess if I ever have a boy i know what he will look like. I hope!! Now I am kind of wanting a boy....hehe...

New Sherman Addition!!

Congratulations to Kyle and Crystal Sherman and their new addition Trey Stephen!! He was born last night and is 6 lbs 10 oz and is 18 1/2 inches long! Whoo hoo! I am an aunt and Lucy has a new cousin!!
Pictures hopefully to come. They are in a different state so we will see how we figure that one out....i am not sure they use a camera very much. Hopefully now they will!!!!

Frustration!

I just wanted to say that I am so frustrated at the housing market. Buyers market yeah RIGHT!!! As of tomorrow morning we will have put out 11 offers on different places and things still look dim. I am hoping and praying that something does come out of all of this...it is so hard to know that we are ready, and we are a FAMILY looking to for our first home..and all of the homes are getting taken by investors who can put more money down than we can. We can't find anything that is owned by the seller themselves...everything is a short sale or bank owned, which makes it SO much harder!! The bank can take FOREVER to get back to you and they dont really care at all. We are the people with the emotions....sorry I just have to vent. Anyone have any helpful ideas at all....please call, email, or comment :(
