Another Disneyland Adventure!

This President's Day Weekend started out sad....Lucy had a 103 fever and we were soo scared that we were in for it. However the fever ended up only lasting a couple of hours...not even overnight and we were able to realize that the next morning she had yet another molar that popped through. I guess my daughter is just a high fever running girl! So the rest of the weekend we spent every waking minute together as a family and had a lot of fun. This was the first time in a while that Lucy had a weekend where she was well! One of the things we did was go to Disneyland. It was extremely crowded, but we still had a great time. I finally brought the camera and tried to take a few pictures.
Wish I got the word that this was going to be a funny face picture!
Wearing mommy's glasses.
Cool ferris wheel shot.
Lucy ate up a storm!

She was SO excited to see Mickey Mouse, and then when he touched her she freaked! Troy yelled, "Smile Lucy!!" and for about 2 milliseconds she did and he got it on camera!
By far Lucy's favorite ride is the carousel. She even told me today!
Acting silly!
As we were leaving there was music and old people dancing in this one square, and we watched it for awhile and Lucy and Troy actually went out and danced! I went to get a picture but some guy told me I had to move our stroller and by the time I finished and ran back over they were done playing the music! Oh well! They had a blast.

Mmm breakfast!

We decided last weekend to make a ton of breakfast burritos and freeze them. They lasted all week and they were wonderful!

Family Pictures- December 28th, 2009.

We were able to take family pictures with Troy's family on Dec. 28th. Wow can't believe I am JUST now posting them! We are planning on getting some framed, and are so excited because we really don't have any family pictures even with Lucy that ANYONE has done. ( Professionally I mean) Sorry for the overload, but you know me and pictures! ( remember you can click on a picture to make it bigger)

24 weeks

Well I decided to write during my 24th week and take a picture at 24 weeks 5 days, so week 23 kind of disappeared....
Things to remember about this week: ( note that not all of these have to do with the pregnancy but I just feel like writing)
-Having MANY MANY people comment on how Stetson has really decided to show himself this week! ( hence = getting larger very fast)
-MAJOR gas ( sorry I know TMI) my whole family has had it so I don't really know if it is the pregnancy or just the food we are eating
-Lucy getting transitioned to her big girl bed! Then the same day getting sick and us trying to put her back in the crib to get a good nights sleep and she said " Nooo, crib for babies!!"
-Going to the Buick Open = being on my feet all day walking around a golf course, but having TONS of fun with Troy. Then getting Lucy her bed, and meeting Jen and Brad for Miguel's. Date days with the hubby are desperately needed!
- Worrying a bit about my job and the fact that I will probably be losing it for good this year, and having a newborn, however realizing it is beyond my control and if we lose our house we lose our house, but we will always have our kiddos and the love for each other!
-Swollen feet at the end of each day. Not bad ones yet, nonetheless they are swollen.
-Troy starting basketball and softball on Tues. and Thurs. nights, I am really excited for him and need to take advantage of the time to myself and sew or read or something! This time for myself will be gone shortly!
-Loving Kashi, roast beef sandwiches, hot chocolate, tangerines, pears, carrots, salads....still craving carbs non-stop and giving in, but trying to balance with this healthy stuff!

Continued bad health and better news

Lucy walking into her room to see her big girl bed! Sorry my finger was over the flash!

Now for a health update and a little explanation of the bed!
So Saturday night Lucy was staying at grandmas while Troy and I spent the day in San Diego at the Buick Open. Lynda said that night she had a slight fever (99). Sunday she ended up having a 102 temp, and Monday she had 102-103. We took her to the doctor and explained we thought it was teething because she is getting her back right 2 year molar and showing ALL the teething signs, but he said it is probably a virus. Monday night ( last night) she slept great and didnt have a fever all night. She woke up and had a 99.8 in the morning, so Troy took her to daycare and we are hoping for the best. This is still very hard. She has been sick for SO LONG, and we had like 4-5 days of no sickness and then now it returns! My heart aches for my little Lucer Goose :(

On a better note, we transitioned her Sunday afternoon ( January 31st- right at 25 months old) to her big girl bed! She is doing GREAT so far! ( knock on wood right?) It is from Ikea and it is an extendable bed. It goes from toddler to twin, we decide how big we want it. I will post pictures tonight. Right now it is about toddler size, but its so nice because it is wide like a twin, so she has a lot more space. Who hoo and lets hope that it continues to go well! ( although she has learned when she wakes up from naps or in the morning to open her door and come find us---she hasn't learned to do that in the middle of the night.)

With some bad, we are bringing in some good!

*edited* on Tuesday-- Lucy's fever is gone now and she went to daycare today. I am beginning to think she may just be a high temperature girl and that all of it was teething. We went to the dr. last night and he said it was probably a virus, but I doubt it. We are now giving her Zyrtec again at night to help with congestion.
