Happy Birthday Lynda!

For Lynda's birthday this year we met up at Irvine Regional Park and bbq'd. It truly was a blast! I think I will do the same for Stetson's second bday! Here Stetson is with great grandpa playing a game.

Two things to document

Stetson now had tubes.....just like his big sister. After 5 ear infections in 8 months .....doctor decided it was time. I took Stetson and did the whole thing by myself, and it was a breeze! I think because I went through it all with Lucy and new exactly what to expect. We even had the same surgeon. Lucy got tubes at about 16 months old, and Stetson got tubes at 21 months old. The blue ear plugs that Stetson has in is my documentation that he does have tubes......and wait...there was one more thing......OH YEAH!!!! Look closer at the picture by his foot. What do you notice? Yes, my son has started pooping in the bath tub. All I have to say is...poor Lucy!!!! She flips out when this happens ( rightfully so ). Bath time is now very short and we don't fill the tub very much.............

and for the record.....

I have always been the one to fish it all out!

Happy 85th Birthday Papa!

We celebrated my grandpa's 85th birthday at our house.

This picture is blurry but I still love it, and him!!!!

After we ate pizza and cake ( my grandparents were in HEAVEN!!! ) we had a little dance party and showed them how to play some of our favorite games on the Wii. They really got a kick out of it!

I am so happy they enjoy coming over and they live in CA now. Lucy and Stetson love them dearly too!!!

Beachin it!

One Saturday morning we went to Ted's and had breakfast burritos and then stopped here....

and had a lot of fun walking the dog ( although disregard what it says in the poster above ...hehe)

I couldn't decide what picture I liked most of Darla with Lucy so I simply didn't "choose" at all. Love my darling girl....

And my stud muffin of a son :)

Typical night ...

After dinner it is common in our house to......hula hoop.....

and bake a batch or two or three of cookies...

and have SO much dough left over and be so sick of cooking that you make one FATTY cookie....

and pretend to cook a little in the play kitchen .....hat and diaper and all...

and then have a little brother sister bonding time over some strawberries and apples.....

ALL after dinner :)

Valentine's Day

We started the weekend before in making presents for our friends. We made homemade crayons... Lip gloss....

Lucy decorated the tops of the lip glosses.


We then packaged them with Fruit by the Foot (her favorite ) and a Spongebob Valentine Card.


She made them for her friends in her Sunday school class, her preschool friends, her friends at dance, and her church friends at the park. Lots of social groups she has!

Then the night before Valentine's Day we went out while Lynda watched the kiddos. I had class on the real Valentine's night so this was perfect!

We did it nice! Troy suprised me with the Charthouse! It was SO delish!
We then went bowling!

When we came home that night Lynda had brought the kids to our house and decorated our house!


They even made cookies!
They made their own frames ....
She got pictures developed and put them in the frames.



The next morning I got them donuts and left them for when they all woke up. ( My Valentine's tradition 2nd year in a row )
Valentine's Day Lucy went to preschool and then went to a church get together Valentine party at the park. Busy day for dad but he loved it! Here is Lucy with her friend Emma.

We can't forget about Stetson ! Here he is stuffing his mouth with candy!


This Valentine's was the best yet!
