First Rice Cereal!

Well Troy decided one week before Stetson turned 4 months to try giving him rice cereal. We had agreed ( or at least I thought we agreed..maybe I just decided ) that we were not going to give him anything until 6 months old because it ends up being a hassle. BUT, Troy said that he is the one that stays home with him and he wanted to try it. This was the first time, and we did it for maybe 3-4 days and Stetson was actually doing really good with it, but we started to see him change....at nighttime, mainly after he ate the rice cereal. He was more fussy, he was having blow outs in the middle of the night...many of them...and the doctor said he may be allergic to something in the cereal ( I used the Organic ). The doctor also said that rice cereal isn't anything "really nutritionally good" for Stetson. So, we stopped it! We will see what we end up doing. I am thinking baby food sooner or later :) I had to post these adorable pictures though!

Lucy was a little upset at the idea of so much attention on Stetson!! So this is what she did!

The bumbo wasn't working and the high chair was in our carport at the time, so we used the stroller and it worked like a charm!

Stetson - 3 months

Note to anyone reading....Today Stetson is 4 months....but I wrote all of the information below when he was at the beginning of three months and the picture is from when he was actually 3 months 3 weeks, so ALMOST 4 months!!! Yikes! I will have to take his 4 month picture at like 4 1/2 months so he doesnt look EXACTLY the same.

- Stetson's favorite things to do are scream-talk ( I LOVE IT! ) and hold onto blankets. He LOVES blankets! If he is fussing ( which is rare lately...YAHOO!) I throw a blanket on him and he smiles and starts sucking it!

-He still drinks 5 oz every three-four hours ( except for nighttime)

- Rolls over in a hot second after being put on his stomach to take a nap or go to bed. He then screams like he is SOO sad until we flip him back over.

-Today he actually fell asleep on his back after rolling over, but he woke up after about 5 minutes when he sneezed!

-Troy is now the stay at home dad and he has gotten the kids out A LOT lately. So Stetson who usually naps after being up for an hour and half now just takes little cat naps and then takes one long nap at the same time Lucy does. It has really worked for him. I was worried that was how it would be even on the weekends, but today I was home all day with him and I put him down like I normally did every hour and a half after him waking and he did fine! He really has been great no matter what lately.

-Went on a date night with mommy and daddy last night to Fire and Ice. I won a giveaway on a blog for a gift card to the restaurant. It was really fun! He was wonderful. Lucy spent the night at Grandma Jugan's. I never would have thought of a date night actually taking a kid along, but it is so nice to just have him and not a screaming two year old!

-Still goes to be 7-7:30pm like Lucy and it is soo wonderful!

- Wears 6-9 month clothes

Stetson's Blessing

Here is my handsome boy in his outfit :) I need to remember that this blessing took place when Stetson was only 2 months old. As BIG as he looks I could mistake it for 6 months!

Lucy was excited as well!

Excited to hold him really! We attempted some pictures.....they didn't turn out the best...but I had to include them!

The blessing was wonderful, Troy did a GREAT job!!! Afterwards we had family over to Lynda and Steve's to eat. ( What is ANYTHING without a feast afterward?)
