Another first

So my friend Darci (who is a SAINT) taught me how to sew a flannel blanket with a silky binding today! So fun! She also taught me how to make receiving blankets, burp cloths, and a crib sheet! Isn't all of that so handy!?! She taught me a lot, and I need to write it all down before I forget...but it is also another excuse to sew sew sew some more! Who hoo! Here are pictures of the blanket I made today. One side is ladybugs ( the more green side ) and the other is apples ( the more pink side).

You keep amazing me. Now you are going to take over Bron's job and become the official baby blanket maker for the expecting mothers at work. Yep, that's right, when I become pregnant again I will be waiting for mine. LOL = )

Great Work! Speaking of work, Lynda just told me that you got your teaching job back. That is the best news I've heard all week. We are soo excited for you. That's awesome.

It's so funny that you said that about choosing 3 pictures because that is exactly what we're thinking we'll do. It's just too hard to choose and they show our different personalities. :) Thanks

LOL!!! It always fun to sew with someone so anytime you want to learn something or just to sew let me know! It really is a cute blanket.

Great job Sarah. You are such a quick learner. Wait til you start making halloween costumes. So much nicer than anything you can buy in the store! I used to make all of them for my kids.

Wow, those are amazing! You did such a great job! I love the fabric you used. I love to do things like that, but I just don't possess the talent. I guess I need Darci to help me too :)
